Our process is to go experience a place first hand and come back with information about the area and the activities available. We try to visit lesser known or less visited places by nature. We find these places more interesting and more in line with our desire to get out and experience the outdoors.

We use a variety of books and trailguides to research our destinations including DeLorme Gazeteers for Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, AMC guidebooks and other books about paddling, biking or fishing. DeLorme Gazeteers are the best atlas maps for your car.

We are not an official source of information in any sense. We try to be as accurate about the information we provide as possible. However, we are prone to error and because we use other sources for our research, we may be perpetuating errors from other places.
