Take US RT 2 North of Old Town into the Village of Milford
Turn Right onto Call Rd
Continue about 3 miles to the end of the road
 
To walk in, the Meadows can be accessed from several places on County Rd. in the town of Milford.

Description
Sunkhaze Meadows is over 10,000 acres of National Wildlife Refuge. Purchase by the US Fish and Wildlife Service in 1988, it encompasses Maine's second largest peat bog, based on a surface area of over 3,000 acres.
 
Sunkhaze hosts nearly 200 species of migrating birds and 30 species of mammals including the Sedge Wren, an endangered species in Maine.
 
Recreational Opportunities include Boating, Fishing, Hiking, Hunting and Winter Sports.
