To Get There:
The Sanctuary is located off of Route 1 North of Portland.
If you are traveling South on Rt. 1, the sanctuary will be on your Right after the intersection of Rt 1 and 88.
It will be on your Left if you are driving North from Portland just before the intersection of Rt 1 and 88.

Description
Gilsland Farm is a 65-acre wildlife sanctuary and environmental education center. The meadows, woods, and marshes are a great place for walking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and wildlife spotting. It has 2 1/2 miles of trails with no steep grades.
