Description
Sabattus Pond, located in interior Maine, is more like a Lake at 1,962 acres. But for all that surface are, it has an average depth of only 14 meters.

Pike are plentiful and make good ice fishing. According to one report, the large Pike population has improved the White Perch fishing by thinning the stunted popluations. No length limits or bag limits exist for Pike. We caught several while ice fishing on New Years day, and missed more!

Sabattus Pond is also known for it's migratory waterfowl sightings. Scaup, Mergansers, Goldeneye, Coots, and Ruddy Ducks can be seen here from time to time.

There is a public boat landing with a small parking lot at the southern end of the Pond.
