Brownfield Bog - Birding

East Brownfield, Maine

Fragrant Water Lily
Overall Experience:
We visited the bog around 7:00am and stayed until around noon on a sunny July day. We put our canoe in just up from the parking area. There were lots of birds singing in the woods across from the bog and a Great Blue Heron flew over head. I was immediately excited about being there. However, as you will see from my list, I became somewhat disappointed with what we saw.
